Christopher Lau

Christopher Lau, PE, MBA, is currently the Central/South Gulf Coast Transit-Rail Lead at AECOM and a Class of 2022 MBA candidate at Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business. They earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and have gained extensive experience in roadway design and project management across various organizations, including cb&i, PGAL, and AECOM. Previously, Lau served as the Chair of Young Professionals in Transportation, where they revitalized the organization and achieved significant membership growth. Additionally, they remain active in the American Society of Civil Engineers' Houston Branch and contribute to initiatives promoting connectivity among young professionals.
