Daniel Charbonneau

Daniel Charbonneau is a seasoned Truth & Reconciliation Leader with over 30 years of experience in Indigenous relations and senior executive roles. They currently serve as a Senior Indigenous Engagement Specialist and Indigenous Reconciliation Project Manager at AECOM, where they foster relationships with Indigenous communities and oversee key projects. Previously, as the Chief Reconciliation Officer at Zhabno Consulting Inc., Daniel developed an Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan for Natural Resources Canada and implemented innovative negotiation methods. Daniel has also held leadership positions with the Algonquins of Ontario and Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada, providing strategic policy advice and managing significant projects. They continue to pursue a Master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Ottawa.
