David Atkins

David Atkins, PE, SE, CSI, is a seasoned civil engineering professional with extensive experience in structural engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Civil Engineering Manager at AECOM since March 2007, David has also held the position of Senior Project Engineer within the same organization. Previous roles include Project Engineer at efJ Consulting Engineers from April 2003 to February 2007, and positions at Kocken & Associates and GRAEF, where responsibilities encompassed structural engineering and project oversight. David began a career in structural engineering with roles at Flad Architects and Gavlin & Reckers. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture with a focus on Structures and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, both obtained from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
