David Maestres

David Maestres is a versatile architect and educator, originally from Caracas, Venezuela, where they earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad Simón Bolívar. They later achieved a Master in Architecture (March II) with distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design. With extensive experience, David founded multiple design studios, including David Maestres Arquitecto in New York, and has held leadership positions at prestigious firms such as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and TEN Arquitectos. Currently, they serve as the Director - Landscape Lead at AECOM and teach at the University of Pennsylvania and Pratt Institute. David's work spans a variety of projects, from urban design to educational facilities, emphasizing a commitment to addressing the needs of communities and the environment.
