David Merritt is currently a Principal Water Resources Consultant at AECOM and serves as Chair of the Garfield County Republican Party. Formerly, they held various leadership roles including Past President of the Colorado Water Congress and the Symphony in the Valley. They were also an Engineer at the US Bureau of Reclamation early in their career. David completed both a BA and an MA in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College.
