Deborah Farina

Deborah Farina is a Senior Heritage Consultant at AECOM, with over ten years of experience in heritage across New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, and Victoria. After leading the Sydney CBD Heritage team at RPS Australia East until March 2017, they transitioned into a Senior Heritage Consultant role at Jacobs in January 2018 before returning to AECOM. With expertise in both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal heritage, Deborah has developed skills in archaeological assessments, built heritage significance, and conservation strategies, focusing recently on a large-scale infrastructure project in Western Sydney. They hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of History from the University of New England, which bolstered their strong foundation in heritage legislation and policy.
