Derek Chisholm is an urban planner and designer with extensive experience managing a diverse array of projects. Currently serving as the Vice President at AECOM, Derek leads the National Business Line for Complete Streets and oversees the New Orleans office. Previously, Derek held roles at URS Corporation, Parametrix, and Place and Policy, contributing to various successful planning initiatives. Derek's work has received local and national awards, and they authored a chapter in the book *Bicycle Urbanism and Engineering for Sustainable Communities*, coining the concept of Middle-Modalism. Derek holds an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Master's in Environmental Planning from Western Carolina University.
