Derek Hug, P.E., PTOE, serves as the New England Traffic Lead at AECOM since July 2025. Prior to this role, Derek was the Managing Engineer at Pare Corporation from September 2021 to June 2025 and a Senior Transportation Engineer at Stantec from January 2018 to September 2021. Previous experience includes serving as a Project Manager at Fuss & O'Neill, Inc. from June 2001 to January 2018 and as a Transportation Engineer at Barkan & Mess Associates, Inc. from August 1998 to May 2001. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, earned between 1993 and 1998.
