Derrick Hiebert

Derrick Hiebert is a leader in disaster risk reduction and resilient recovery, currently serving as the Infrastructure Resilience Practice Leader at AECOM. With a career that includes roles at FEMA, Deloitte, and King County, Derrick has a strong background in hazard mitigation, climate resilience, and emergency management. Derrick has effectively bridged gaps between planning and implementation, skillfully managing projects across various governmental levels. They hold a BA in International Affairs and Geography from The George Washington University, as well as a Master’s in Urban Design and Planning from the University of Washington.
