Doug Shako

Doug Shako is an accomplished Associate Vice President in Project Controls with extensive experience in managing large teams and complex projects. They previously served as a Senior Manager at both URS Corporation and AECOM, overseeing project controls for significant initiatives across Canada. Prior to these roles, Doug worked as a Civil Structural Engineer at Planviron Limited and held various positions at Flint Energy Construction, where they focused on cost control, scheduling, and change management for high-value projects. Doug earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of the West Indies and a Master’s in Project Management from The University of Calgary.
