Doug Tapper

Doug Tapper possesses extensive experience in the energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Western Australia Energy Lead at AECOM since November 2024. Previously, Doug held various senior positions, including Director Energy at BG&E Resources and Energy Practice Leader for Western Australia and Northern Territory at Aurecon. With a strong background in project management, Doug has successfully managed major projects such as the Southern Regional Water Pipeline and biomass power stations in NSW. Doug's expertise includes business development, operations management, and engineering for power generation, complemented by an MBA from Chifley Business School and a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire.
