Ed Koubek

Ed Koubek is a Senior Homeland Security Consultant at AECOM, leveraging extensive expertise in merging grant programs with emergency operations and business continuity management. They were a Certified Emergency Manager™ from 2012 to 2017, as recognized by the International Association of Emergency Managers. Over the past five years, Koubek has focused on identifying grant opportunities to enhance community resilience against climate change, working with clients such as the City of Alexandria, New York City, and FEMA. Their previous roles include Project Manager at Dames & Moore and Senior Program Manager at URS Corporation, where they led the development of comprehensive emergency preparedness programs for NASA. Koubek holds a BS in Risk Management from the University of Maryland College Park, earned in 1990.
