Edward M. Murphy

Edward M. Murphy, PE, is a seasoned professional in the field of environmental engineering, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at AECOM since March 2023, specializing in contaminated sites and environmental remediation. With a wealth of experience, Murphy previously held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Tetra Tech, focusing on the US Navy CLEAN contract. As Principal at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., Murphy led efforts to expand environmental services in New York and managed various compliance and remediation projects. A former Associate and Senior Consultant at Golder Associates for two decades, Murphy developed a strong track record in client development and business generation. Additionally, Murphy has contributed to the profession as a Trustee for the Practice Institute of Engineering and as President of the Erie-Niagara Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers. Murphy holds a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
