Ellys Lim is currently the Team Lead for Structures, Buildings + Places at AECOM, specializing in structural design and seismic assessment of buildings across New Zealand. With experience as a Structural Engineer at Prendos New Zealand Limited and as a Civil Engineering Intern at VSL International Ltd., Ellys has a solid foundation in both commercial and residential structural projects. Ellys holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Auckland, where they also contributed as a Research and Teaching Assistant. In addition to professional pursuits, Ellys enjoys scuba diving, exploring diverse cultures, and savoring a perfect cup of tea while reading.
