Emily Cooper is an accomplished environmental and project management professional with extensive experience in managing large-scale projects in the renewable energy and environmental sectors. Currently serving as Associate Vice President and Global Fiber Lead at AECOM since November 2024, Cooper previously held roles as Program Lead for Subsea Fiber and Senior Project Manager in Renewables & High Tech at AECOM from April 2021 to January 2025, and as Senior Project Manager at Atwell, LLC, overseeing environmental practices for utility-scale wind energy projects. Prior consulting experience includes serving as Principal Consultant at ERM, focusing on impact assessment and permitting, and as a Senior Consultant at the World Resources Institute, where significant contributions were made to global environmental reports. Cooper holds an MSc in Environment and Development with Distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Biology and Political Science from Brown University.
