Gavin Scherer

Gavin Scherer is currently serving as the Global Initiative Leader for PFAS Commercialization at AECOM. Their extensive experience at the company includes roles as Work Group Manager, ANZ Growth Leader for PFAS, Associate Director, and Principal Environmental Scientist in Geosciences & Remediation Services from 2013 to 2018. Prior to AECOM, Gavin worked as a Geotechnical Scientist at CivilTest from 1999 to 2001 and as a Senior Environmental Scientist at Connolly Environmental Pty Ltd from 2001 to 2007. They are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Earth Science with Honours at Deakin University and a Diploma in Management from Chifley Business School.
