George Katechis is a Senior Project Manager currently overseeing projects at AECOM, with extensive experience across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors including hospitality and healthcare. They have held senior roles at several firms, originally beginning their career as a Junior Electrical Engineer at Americal Power Technologies, and later gaining expertise as a Construction Engineer at the Port Authority of NY & NJ and as a Senior MEP Project Manager at Gilbane Building Company. In addition to their project management work, George teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Farmingdale State College in the School of Architecture and Engineering. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Manhattan College.
