Hash Maitra

Hash Maitra is a chartered civil engineer and Regional Director at AECOM, where they have worked since 2005. With a career in the construction industry spanning over four decades, Hash has developed expertise in health and safety law, particularly regarding work at height and CDM regulations. They previously spent 13 years as a specialist inspector at the HSE, contributing to their deep knowledge of health and safety compliance in design and construction. Hash has served as an expert in over 100 cases in recent years, providing advice to major law firms in the UK. They hold a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, earned between 1976 and 1979.
