Ian Pitcher

Ian Pitcher has over thirty-five years of experience in corporate governance, strategic and operational planning, project management, and the design and construction of infrastructure, with a strong focus in the transport sector. Currently serving as Industry Director at AECOM Australia Pty Ltd since January 1993, Ian provides leadership for major infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand, emphasizing collaborative delivery approaches. Prior to this role, Ian was a Civil Engineer at Main Roads WA from 1983 to 1993. Ian holds a Master of Engineering Science in Traffic & Transport Engineering from Monash University (1988-1989) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Western Australia (1979-1982).
