Jae Park

Jae Park is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and resilience, currently serving as Vice President of Risk Management & Resilience at AECOM since September 2009. Key contributions include leading national public infrastructure resilience initiatives and managing significant FEMA Hazard Mitigation Program contracts. In addition to this role, Jae Park has been active on the Advisory Board of the Coastal Resilience Center of Excellence at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, providing strategic insights for disaster management research. Previous positions encompass project management for the New York Governor’s Office following Superstorm Sandy and as Chief Policy Analyst for Mississippi's disaster recovery efforts. Jae Park's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Science from Texas A&M University and a Master’s in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University.
