James Kirkpatrick

James Kirkpatrick is the Vice President and Director of Urbanism + Planning at AECOM, where they focus on integrating natural and built environments. With over two decades of experience, James has worked on significant projects across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including high-profile developments like Saadiyat Island and the Hudson Railyards. They previously held roles as Global Director of Masterplanning at AECOM, Associate at EDAW, and Senior Urban Designer/Planner at FXFOWLE. James holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and a Master of Architecture from The University of British Columbia.
