Jay Lu

Jay Lu is a dedicated project manager and senior engineer currently working at AECOM and previously held the role of Deputy Director in the Engineering Unit at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development from 2022 to 2024. With experience as a structural engineer at LAM Structural Engineering and Lightweight Manufacturing, Jay has developed a robust skill set in structural design and construction project management. Jay obtained a B.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, and is committed to innovating affordable housing solutions in New York City, aiming to build a better, fairer, and stronger community.
