Jim Lyon, PE, is a Program Manager for Sustainability & Energy with an extensive background in energy efficiency and decarbonization. They began their career as a Student Engineer at the Industrial Assessment Center, participating in energy audits that identified significant cost savings and greenhouse gas reductions. Over the years, they held various positions, including Project Engineer II at Chevron Energy Solutions and Senior Emerging Tech Lead at ComEd, where they focused on emerging technologies for energy efficiency. They earned an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and hold two degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. Currently, they serve as the US Built Environment Decarbonization Lead at AECOM.
