Jinesh Kumar

Jinesh Kumar is a highly experienced Senior Marine Engineer currently working at AECOM since October 2024. With a solid background in civil engineering, Jinesh began as a Site Civil Engineer at Spencer Constructions and Roopam Construction, focusing on civil construction execution and quality checks. Jinesh transitioned to the marine sector, serving as a Marine and Coastal Engineer at DHI, where expertise in numerical modeling software such as MIKE 21, MIKE 3, and LITPACK was developed, allowing for complex analyses related to waves, currents, and sediment transport. Jinesh further advanced to senior roles, managing projects and conducting environmental impact assessments, while also providing training on specialized software. In addition to technical roles, Jinesh has academic experience as an Assistant Professor, teaching structural analysis and design at the College of Engineering and Technology, Payyannur. Jinesh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering and a Master of Technology in Marine Structures.
