Jochen Ristig is the Sports, Arts, and Culture Sector Lead for AECOM’s Building and Places business in Victoria and South Australia. With over 20 years of experience in structural engineering and design management, Jochen has successfully led multidisciplinary teams across Australia, Germany, Singapore, and the Middle East. Notable projects include Hobart Stadium, Melbourne Park Stage 3, Allianz Arena in Munich, and AAMI Park Stadium in Melbourne. Jochen holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Structural Engineering from TU Dortmund University and has previously served in various leadership roles at AECOM, Hyder Consulting, Arup, and Pitt & Sherry. Passionate about creating iconic and sustainable buildings, Jochen strives to push the boundaries of design and engineering for transformative outcomes in the built environment.
