Josh Loyd

Josh Loyd is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and Indigenous participation, currently serving as an Adjunct Industry Professor at Swinburne University of Technology and as First Nations Director for Buildings & Places at AECOM. Throughout various roles, including Manager Industry Capability & Inclusion at John Holland and Indigenous Participation Consultant at Jacobs, Josh has focused on embedding First Nations perspectives and cultural knowledge into engineering practices and ensuring the integration of Indigenous voices in the built environment. Prior experience includes coordinating Indigenous employment initiatives at WSP and serving as a Heritage Officer at Fortescue Metals Group. Josh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Queensland University of Technology.
