Kapi Magedara

Kapi Magedara, PhD, is an independent project verifier for Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) and a chartered professional engineer with extensive experience in transport infrastructure. They specialize in independent verification, project management, construction management, and traffic management, having successfully delivered numerous significant projects, including the M4 Smart Motorway and Sydney Light Rail. Kapi previously managed key roles in project verification and transport planning within the Roads and Maritime Services and has held senior positions at various consulting firms. They hold a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and continue their education at Nalanda Vidyalaya in Colombo.
