Katherine Whiting

Environmental Specialist

Katherine Whiting is an experienced Environmental Specialist and Environmental Planner at AECOM since August 2005, focusing on transportation, environmental, and civil engineering projects. Katherine's expertise includes environmental permitting, remediation, screenings, impact assessments, biophysical studies, and public engagement. Prior to AECOM, Katherine served as a Substitute Teacher in the Saskatoon Public School Division and Prairie Spirit School Division, teaching various subjects from grades K-12. Additional roles include Heritage Interpreter at Meewasin Valley Authority, Program Coordinator at Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council, Safety and Environment Technician at Areva Resources Canada Inc., and Park Naturalist with the Government of Saskatchewan. Katherine holds a B.Ed. from the University of Saskatchewan, a Certificate in French Language and Culture from the University of Quebec, a B.Sc. from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Diploma in Renewable Resources Technology from the Saskatchewan Institute of Arts, Science and Technology.
