Kelby Freel

Kelby Freel has extensive experience in federal contracting and security management. Currently serving as a Senior Federal Subcontract Administrator at AECOM since November 2025, Kelby previously held multiple roles in the United States Air Force, including Security Forces Team Leader and Contract Specialist, from September 2015 to March 2018. Between October 2023 and July 2025, Kelby worked as a Senior DoD Integration & Business Development Consultant at SBIR Advisors Inc. and briefly served as the Export Control and Research Security Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Educational qualifications include two Associate of Arts and Sciences degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management and Criminal Justice/Police Science, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, achieving a consistent academic record of 4.0 GPA across all degrees. Additionally, Kelby completed a professional course in Contracting at the Defense Acquisition University.
