Mark Forbes is a Principal Engineer in Energy at AECOM, having transitioned from the role of Senior Engineer in Power Generation in 2024. Prior to their tenure at AECOM, Mark worked at Pureharvest in Projects & Engineering from 2014 to 2019 and held various engineering positions at General Motors from 2003 to 2005, where they managed substantial R&D budgets and led engineering development on vehicle programs. Mark began their career in wind engineering, contributing to projects at REpower Australia and Senvion Australia between 2010 and 2015. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics, both from Monash University.
