Matt Aspden

Matt Aspden has extensive experience in project management and construction, currently serving as an Associate Project Manager at AECOM since July 2023. Prior to this role, Aspden was a Project Director and Senior Project Manager at Mercury Power Ltd from April 2019 to June 2023, where management of large capital infrastructure projects was a key responsibility. Aspden's earlier experience at BAE Systems included various roles from 2008 to 2012, such as Project Manager Construction, with a focus on managing construction planning and delivery across multiple projects. Additionally, Aspden has a background in facilities management overseeing service contracts and safety across BAE Systems sites. Aspden began the career as a Project Engineer at TClarke from 1998 to 2008 and holds a BSc (Hons) in Project Management from the University of Central Lancashire and an HNC in Construction from Blackburn College.
