Matt Nanney, GISP, RPA, serves as the Geospatial Technologies & Remote Sensing Manager at AECOM, where they have been since 2009. With over 20 years of experience in GIS and archaeology, Matt has held roles as a Mobile Technology Lead, UAV Certified Pilot, and Field Technician. They previously worked as a GIS Technician and Land Surveyor Party Chief at Ballentine and Associates, as well as gaining field experience in archaeological projects at CRM Legacy Research. Matt earned a B.A. in History and Anthropology from Appalachian State University and holds Master's degrees in GIS and Earth Sciences from North Carolina Central University.
