Matt Soudkhah, Ph.D., P.E., is a Principal Geotechnical-Tunnel Engineer and AVP at AECOM, with over 25 years of experience in the engineering and design of various infrastructure projects including tunnels, bridges, and dams. They have held positions as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Project Manager at multiple firms, including Bechtel Corporation and HDR, and served as a Research Associate and Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. Matt holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering and Geomechanics from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with an MS in Geotechnical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Tabriz.
