Matthew Jay

Matthew Jay is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in project management and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist at AECOM since November 2025, Matthew has previously held roles including Managing Consultant and Scientist at ERM, Associate Project Manager at Jacobs, and Senior Specialist/Lead Biologist at Percheron, LLC. Prior to these positions, Matthew worked as a Project Manager and Scientist at Benchmark Ecological Services, Inc., and began a career as a Laboratory Technician at Oxane Materials. Matthew holds a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences, with a focus on Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from Texas A&M University.
