Matthew Mitchel

Matthew Mitchel is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as Engineer II at AECOM since July 2023. Previously, Matthew worked as a Concrete Materials Engineer at SES Group and Associates, LLC, providing technical assistance for research on concrete pavements and structures, conducting materials testing, and documenting findings. Prior to that role, Matthew was a CMT Technician at Olsson, assisting with geotechnical materials testing and construction observations while collaborating with project contractors. Additionally, Matthew gained experience as a Field Technician at National Construction & Architecture Inc., where responsibilities included collaborating on project cost estimates and documenting construction site conditions. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2020, and graduated from Palisades Charter High School in 2016 with a 4.3 GPA.
