Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith graduated from the University of Leeds in July 2023 with a 2:1 in Environmental Science, excelling in their final year dissertation that focused on the environmental and public health benefits of mass electrification in the UK passenger car industry. They have diverse experience in the retail and hospitality sectors, having worked as a sales assistant at Derby County Football Club, a chef at TGI Fridays, and a bartender at The Mason's Arms. Currently, Matthew is set to begin their role as an Air Quality Graduate Consultant at AECOM in January 2024, following their tenure as a Student Ambassador at the University of Leeds where they assisted in organizing events.
