Michael Fishman is an accomplished urbanist with three decades of leadership experience in stakeholder engagement, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and planning sustainable capital programs. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at AECOM, Michael excels in transportation planning and critical infrastructure delivery while mentoring staff. Previously, they held roles such as Director of Urban Design & Planning at Halcrow and Vice President at Sam Schwartz Engineering, where they led high-profile projects and coordinated with various stakeholders. Michael is also an adjunct professor at NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate, where they teach resilient infrastructure and urban design. They are committed to social equity, accessibility, and environmental stewardship in urban planning.
