Michael Malenfant, PE, P.Eng is a seasoned structural engineer with extensive experience in the water and wastewater industries. Currently serving as Vice President and Operations Manager for AECOM's Northeast Water Design Center, Michael oversees complex multi-disciplinary projects, focusing on standards development, pricing, execution, quality review, and project closeout. Prior roles at AECOM included Structural Engineer and Associate Vice President, specializing in water business line initiatives from September 1999 to April 2015. Earlier experience at Bechtel Corporation involved structural design within an NQA-1 environment. Michael holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from New Mexico State University.
