Michael O'Brien

Michael O'Brien, PLA LEED AP, is an experienced Urban Designer and Landscape Architect with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as both Urban Designer/Landscape Architect and Landscape Architecture/Urban Design Manager at AECOM since February 2003, O'Brien has also held the position of President at MSOLanddesign from March 2009 to February 2010 and was a Senior Associate at EDAW from February 2003 to March 2009, a company acquired by AECOM. Earlier roles include Associate positions at HOK from 1998 to 2002 and Landscape Architect at Reece Hoopes and Fincher from 1997 to 1998. O'Brien holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from The University of Georgia, earned between 1990 and 1994, following a diploma from Waycross High School from 1985 to 1989.
