Mike Blount

Mike Blount is the Senior Vice President of Design-Build at AECOM, bringing over 42 years of experience in engineering and facilities management. They currently instruct Construction Contracting and Wastewater Design for the Civil Engineering Master's program at Norwich University, having taught Business Management in the past. Previously serving in various leadership roles, including Vice President of Federal Operations at Balfour Beatty Construction US and Commanding Officer at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, Mike has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, program management, and public-private ventures. They have held significant positions within the Society of American Military Engineers and the Seabee Memorial Scholarship Association, showcasing their commitment to professional development in the engineering sector. Mike earned an MSE in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BSE in the same field from the University of Florida.
