Mike Pilgrim

Mike Pilgrim is an Associate Director and Transport Advisory Team Lead at AECOM, where they have contributed as a Transportation Team Lead and Principal Road Safety Engineer since 2021. Prior to this role, Mike served as a Principal Safety Engineer at Towards Zero Consulting from 2015 to 2021 and worked as a Senior Safety Engineer at NZ Transport Agency from 2009 to 2012. Mike began their career in the Royal New Zealand Navy, holding the position of Officer from 2003 to 2005. They earned a Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Canterbury between 2011 and 2014.
