Mike Simms

Mike Simms is a Chartered Civil Engineer currently on a career break. They led the Rail Alignment and Configuration team for the NEOM railways, specifically The Spine and The Connector. Previously, they spent a decade in the Crossrail Client team, where they held various Engineering Manager roles across multiple projects, including the Connaught Tunnel and Liverpool Street Station. Mike also contributed as a Design Manager for Thames Tideway and has an engineering background that includes projects such as the Copenhagen Metro and Manchester Metrolink. They completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Lancaster.
