Moe Lavasani

Moe Lavasani, PhD, PE, PTOE, RSP1, is a Transportation Engineering Manager at AECOM, a position held since 2025. Previously, they served as a Transportation Project Manager and Director of Transportation and Modeling at CALTRAN Engineering Group from 2018 to 2025. Moe's earlier roles include working as a Transportation Modeler and Traffic Engineer at CALTRAN from 2016 to 2018, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida International University from 2013 to 2016, where they focused on transportation planning. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, a Master's degree in Transportation and Highway Engineering from the University of Tehran, and a PhD in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Florida International University.
