Mu Ramanathan

Mu Ramanathan is a seasoned civil engineering professional with extensive experience in leading major infrastructure projects. Currently serving as the Technical Director at AECOM since February 2024, Mu is involved in the METRONET project in Perth, Australia. Previous roles include Design Project Manager for the NEOM Infrastructure Project in Saudi Arabia, and Director of Structures for the Chennai Metro Rail Project, where comprehensive design and engineering services were provided. With a career spanning over three decades, Mu has held various senior positions in prominent companies, including Riyadh Metro Transit Consultants and Bechtel Corporation, displaying a strong track record in managing intricate design and construction processes for transit and civil infrastructure projects across multiple countries. Mu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering.
