MurugaMoorthy Chelliah

MurugaMoorthy Chelliah is an Executive Director at AECOM, currently leading the Chennai Metro Rail Projects (CMRL) Phase II within a consortium. From 1997 to 2023, MurugaMoorthy served as Director of Projects at LTA, overseeing significant projects like the North South Corridor and various underground rail projects. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1997, MurugaMoorthy held the position of Project Manager in London, managing major railway construction initiatives including the Jubilee Line Extension. MurugaMoorthy holds a B.Sc. and is a Chartered Engineer, as well as a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
