Nicolas Le Moal

Nicolas Le Moal is an experienced acoustics professional with a robust background in engineering and architecture. Since February 2018, Nicolas has served as the Regional Discipline Lead (Acoustics) at AECOM, overseeing significant projects such as SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and the Abrahamic Family House. Prior to this role, Nicolas worked as an Associate at Buro Happold, contributing to landmark developments including the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the King Abdulaziz Center for Knowledge and Culture. Earlier experience includes positions at Dar Al Handasah, Capita Symonds, and Optimise, focusing on building acoustics design for various projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Nicolas has also contributed to academia as a speaker on acoustics in architecture at the American University of Sharjah. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Building and Environmental Acoustics from Ecole d'Architecture de Paris-Val-de-Seine and a Master of Architecture from Ecole d'Architecture de Nantes.
