Peter Garvey

Peter Garvey has extensive experience in engineering and project management, having worked in various roles across notable companies in the mining and resources sector. They served as a Materials Handling Engineer at Bechtel from 2007 to 2010 and later held positions such as Lead Mechanical Engineer and Branch Manager at RCR Tomlinson. At AECOM, Peter took on significant responsibilities as Associate Director, overseeing projects for major clients like Newmont and Newcrest from 2013 to 2020. Prior to these roles, they gained valuable experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Rio Tinto Alcan from 2003 to 2007 and as a Senior Project Engineer at CMOC-Northparkes Mines from 2017 to 2020.
