They have over five years of experience in transportation safety and data analytics, specializing in machine learning models and connected vehicle applications. Peter's professional journey includes roles as a Senior Traffic Engineer at AECOM and previous positions as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant during their Ph.D. program. They hold a Master’s Degree in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Cairo University, where they graduated with Distinction, and have published research in various transportation applications.
