Rachel Chen

Rachel Chen is a seasoned Senior Restoration Ecologist and Project Manager at AECOM since May 2016, specializing in ecological restoration projects. Prior to this role, Rachel served as a Restoration Ecologist and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at San Diego State University, teaching various courses in biology and ecology. Rachel's experience includes volunteer work with the Soil Ecology and Restoration Group and positions at Tetra Tech and the San Diego River Park Foundation, where responsibilities ranged from field surveys to habitat monitoring. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Ecology from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution from UC San Diego.
