CBK Rao is an Executive Director in Transportation, currently serving as Project Director for the Hyderabad Metro at AECOM. They graduated in Civil Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur and began their career as a lecturer before joining the Indian Railways as a Railway Engineer in 1974. Over the years, CBK held various positions in Indian Railways, including Chief Engineer, before taking on leadership roles in multiple metro projects such as the Delhi Metro and the Rapid Metro in Gurgaon. They have been providing technical consultancy as a freelancer since 2020, focusing on railways and the revival of water bodies in India.
